The Children's Book Guild of Washington D.C.

Slated to open in 2012, National Children’s Museum (NCM) will serve as a place of wonder and delight for children of all ages and their families. NCM’s mission is to engage, inform, and delight visitors by providing fun educational experiences that foster their growth as individuals and as members of families, communities, the nation, and the world.

Once completed, National Children’s Museum will be a state-of-the-art museum and a centerpiece of National Harbor on the Potomac River in just outside Washington, DC.

As the museum is developed, NCM will continue to serve the community through its Museum Without Walls program that will build upon the Capital Children’s Museum's thirty years of experience and utilize school and community outreach programs, traveling exhibits, special events, and programs in partnership with other organizations.
