Cami Campos: The (Not) Cuban Valentines

By:

Terry Catasús Jennings

Valentine's Day is coming up, but Cami wants to focus on winning her school's reading competition. When she tells her teacher she doesn't want to make cards due to her culture, she's asked to make Cuban inspired valentines AND write a report. At least she'll get tickets for the reading challenge out of it. But with a new student logging a crazy number of pages, Cami will have to figure out how to tackle her workload and still get her reading in. Aligned to Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards.

Available both in English and Spanish
