Cynthia Cotten has been writing fiction and poetry for young people for almost (yikes!) 40 years. She’s published several critically-praised picture books and has poems included in numerous collections edited by Lee Bennett Hopkins, Jane Yolen, Sylvia Vardell and Janet Wong, and Ryan Van Cleave. She lives in Lockport, NY, in a house beside the historic Erie Canal.
