At The Nature Generation (NatGen), our mission is simple yet profound: inspire and empower young people to become environmental stewards through literature. We believe in the power of youth to shape a healthier, more sustainable future. We use reading, teaching, and acting to foster a culture where young people see themselves as agents of change. We run an annual environmental book award (the Green Earth Book Award); offer small-scale Seed Grants to schools, libraries, nonprofits, and individuals; and provide free environmental learning resources.
