Lecture: Philip and June Jo Lee founded Readers to Eaters to share an appreciation for food cultures through good stories and beautiful writing. Philip's vast experience in publishing and June Jo's background in food ethnography make them particularly suited to promoting food literacy using children's books. They are excited to be speaking to the Guild during the 10th anniversary of Readers to Eaters' founding and during Food Literacy Month!
Online price is $26, which includes a $1.00 service fee.

Annual Guild Business Meeting (and election of 2019-2020 officers) (members only) and March CBG Lecture (open to all) - Thursday, March 21, 2019
Times: Business Meeting - 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Lecture - 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Place: Cleveland Park Library, 3310 Connecticut Ave. NW. (Lower Level Meeting Room)
Speaker: Guild member Kathy Crutcher of Shout Mouse Press will speak on mentoring young writers.
No cost. This will be a "brown bag” event. Please bring your own refreshments from home or from take-out eateries which abound in the immediate neighborhood.
Note: While there are parking lots and street parking in the vicinity, the Cleveland Park Metro (Red Line) is steps away from the newly renovated Library.
Updated Monthly Lecture Ticket Policy*
Please note that, beginning June 2019, ticket reservations for monthly lectures may be cancelled and refunded only prior to 3 days before the event. After that time, you are responsible for payment.
If you cancel a reservation for a pre-paid ticket via Paypal before the registration deadline date, you may do either of the following:
a) Request our Registrar to apply your Paypal payment to the cost of a future monthly lecture; or
b) Request a refund from our Registrar. Please note, however, that in this case Paypal’s processing fees are non-refundable.
If you have made a reservation but wish to cancel later than 3 days prior to the event:
a) You can transfer the ticket reservation to someone else. You may ask a friend to assume your reservation, and settle up privately with her/him/them; or
